Overview of the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq

Cadillac continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup, with the 2026 Vistiq its latest model. Joining the Lyriq, Celestiq, Escalade IQ, and soon the Optiq, The Vistiq is a three-row luxury crossover similar in size to the gas-powered Cadillac XT6. With more choices available, Cadillac seems poised to dominate the luxury EV market.

“Cadillac continues to set the standard for American luxury. The introduction of VISTIQ will continue to propel us into the EV future,” said John Roth, vice president, Global Cadillac. “With the addition of VISTIQ, Cadillac will be one of the only brands to offer an EV entry in every luxury SUV segment.”

Production begins in Spring 2025 at GM’s Spring Hill, Tennessee, manufacturing facility. That plant originally produced Saturn models, but has successfully transitioned into a modern, EV-making hub.

Exterior Design

If the Vistiq’s look seems familiar, it is. Specifically, it draws its design inspiration from the Escalade IQ with its symmetrical windshield and unique black crystal shield. Bright accents, multiple wheel options, and a Cadillac Mondrian pattern on the third-row windows draw attention this vehicle. Further, its signature D-pillar design tapers upward, supplying a unique look that combines Cadillac’s luxury and sporty heritage. As with some of its other models, the Vistiq’s grille design varies, depending on the grade.

Interior Layout

The Cadillac Vistiq’s interior supplies three rows of seating with an emphasis on comfort and practicality. Among the key features are padded armrests, smartphone storage, USB charging ports, and five-zone climate control. Premium materials dominate the cabin, including recycled woven fabrics, open-pore wood, and carbon fiber accents, depending on the trim level. Practical storage options, such as underfloor compartments and configurable seating, supply the versatility that customers expect.

Technology and Safety

The Cadillac Vistiq comes equipped with advanced technology and safety features. Standard Super Cruise enables hands-free driving on compatible roads, while a 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos supplies concert-level sound throughout the cabin. Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional charging is available, allowing the vehicle to supply power during outages.

On the safety front, OnStar Automatic Crash Response comes standard. This system is joined by blind zone steering assist, forward collision alert, side bicyclist alert, and other important features. Optionally, Cadillac offers Night Vision, which makes it easier to detect pedestrians and animals at night.

Performance Highlights

The Cadillac Vistiq features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. It is powered by a 102-kWh battery pack. This model offers an estimated 300-mile range. Cadillac says that the Vistiq delivers smooth handling enhanced by standard chassis damping control and an optional Air Ride Adaptive Suspension. Also available is Active Rear Steer, which supplies improved maneuverability via a reduced turning radius for a more agile driving experience.

Looking Ahead

With five all-electric models in the offing, Cadillac joins the rest of the GM product in expanding its choices. Although the EV market remains soft, GM has sold more than 300,000 EVs in the US through the first 10 months alone. The Cadillac Vistiq should do its part to expand that footprint, a model that will start around $80,000 when it goes on sale in mid-2025.
