My first car was a 1967 Oldsmobile F-85. I paid $140 for it. It ran great too. It was a nasty green, just like the one in this blurry picture here. It had a three-speed on the column, or, as we used to call it- three on the tree.

It was so rusty, and had no carpet, so I was embarrassed of it, even though I was proud. So I did what any respectable teenager would do- I put some hot pink carpet in it (that was all I could find) and painted it primer black, right over the rust. Continue reading »

This is one hot machine! Starting at $22,680 the high performance 2010 Camaro is a lot of bang for your buck. The 312 HP V6 is incredible, yet still manages to get 29 MPG highway with the automatic 6-speed transmission. But if that’s not enough for you, try the 426 HP 6.2 liter V8.

Even the big V8 manages to get a respectable 24 MPG. Technology is alive and well at GM with power, performance and fuel economy in one very sharp package.

Yes, the American muscle car still lives. Move over Mustang, you’ve got some company at the top. (And that’s coming from a Ford man.) This is going to be a good year for Chevy. And next year will be even better- guaranteed. Continue reading »

Driven Autos Magazine is now live!

We’re taking all of our articles from our publications and posting them online for free. No more selling magazines at newsstands. Those days are gone in our opinion. There is so much more information available online nowadays, there is just no reason for a printed magazine any more.


So here we go. It is our goal and mission statement that we will give honest reviews on all things automotive. We plan on reviewing every new car and every used car out there. I know that’s quite a goal, but with today’s technology, everything is possible. Continue reading »
