4 Ways to Jazz up Your Car

Little BigfootBuying a car is one of the soundest investments a person can make; a good product also has great resale value, making cars one of the best things to buy for the present as well as the future. Their depreciation unfortunately, begins soon enough, but with a little care you can protect your investment. The rain, snow, excessive sunlight, a teenage kid taking it away while you are asleep or away, are just a fraction of the factors that can age your car in every way. Buying a new one immediately is not feasible unless your first name is Bill followed by Gates as the last name. Hence, here are a few tips you can use to jazz up your car, because jazzing things up is cool and hep. So are you.

Wax, paint, spray, whatever works:

Rusting, faded paint, scratches, dull spots invade cars within two months itself, from brand new they start looking old and weathered soon enough. Regular waxing of the car will at least protect it from the moody elements that constitute our planet. Autofella.com provides a great resource describing everything you need to know about getting the perfect car wax here: A Guide on Getting the Best Car Wax. If waxing is not really making it glow, the car needs more help. You can provide more help by getting it re-painted. Re-painting even changes the color of the car! Change it to black from that shiny red color you always wanted to remove. Even the finish ranges from glossy, which looks like the car has just been brought from the showroom, to matte, which makes your car look unbothered and hot.

Re-do the seats:

Sometimes all it takes is a change of seat covers to jazz up your car. Especially leather seat covers which instantly up the “awesome” quotient in cars. Not only does the car end up looking far more luxurious than it really is, there is no musty smell or wearing out when it comes to leather seat covers. Unlike vinyl, leather seats don’t heat up if the car is under the sun. If you are a little experimental by nature, you can also go for good quality customized seat covers. You can sit on Batman’s brooding face and feel far superior to the rest of the world. Basically, upgrading seat covers is a big win.

Cleanliness is Godliness and all that:

Not the superficial car wash which gets done in a matter of minutes, keep a day free and get into hardcore scrubbing of your beloved car. From shampooing the carpet and seat covers to removing all the trash one can find in every angle of the car. There will be a lot; it will be a treasure of trash. Use the vacuum cleaner to remove all the dust particles accumulated since time immemorial in your car, get under your car too but the most important thing to do will be to clean the insides of your car. All shiny and new, your car will be pretty from the inside as well as from the outside. Just like a Disney princess.

Please don’t stop the music:

If the money is sparse then just upgrade the speakers or add a powerful amplifier, to well-amplify the cool music you play in your car. If the money is in abundance, then spend a small amount on a new music system for the car. There are so many varieties out there; you will need a separate guide for that.

Upgrade, clean, re-paint and change, keep these things in mind and make your car the jazziest thing out there on the road.
